And I’m on vacation… and it was simply perfect. Nothing big or fancy. Time with family is just what this girl wanted for her birthday. It’s like chicken soup on a cold day, or warm fuzzy socks early in the morning… it was comforting to be with family.

And with them living in the Northwest (remind me, WHY did you decide to move?!) I can’t remember the last time we spent my birthday together. Mom, do YOU remember?!

And complete w/ a bonfire to round out the day’s festivities?! YES PLEASE!
