I am sitting down to write out my very first Five Minute Friday post… the topic this Friday: lonely

Ready, set, go…

A fear for most.  But I thrive off of quiet time.

Then it dawns on me that loneliness doesn’t only occur during quiet times, during moments of solitary.

Loneliness lives deep in a heart. It’s a spot that only my God can fill. When I find my purpose in the my Heavenly Father, who gave me life… and I find my companionship.

And maybe this is why I’m not fearful of loneliness.

God has already filled those moments of time with His presence, and His guidance and His love.

And I am reminded of the Bible verse “I will never leave or forsake you.”

Thank you, my Heavenly Father … your presence and influence is felt in many moments of my day.
