What I liked about Noah, the movie

I haven’t yet seen the movie Noah, by Darren Aronofsky (a controversial film-maker, who calls himself a humanist).   I will watch it at some point…. but in the meantime I am thoroughly enjoying reading the articles and blog posts and opinions being shouted out via social media about how the film maker got a number of things wrong.  And reading all of these opinions makes me grin…

I am happy for a couple of reasons:

  • One – People entrenched in the truths of the Bible recognized false testimony straight away!
  • Two – The allegations of inaccuracy sent people directly to the Bible to find out the truth!

I can’t help but grin.  People went to the Bible… because they recognized the truth could only be found in the Bible!

Jesus said …

If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”  John 8:31-32

In my opinion, let the controversy continue…

Darren… may I be so bold as to ask what movie you are making next?  Can I make a special request?  Make a film on Esther!  Oh the drama in that King’s house!  I’m sure you can make that one controversial… and I can’t wait for people to read the truth!
